The story revolves around two different continents and is set around young Amira, her older husband Adil, her friends Arsalan and Faiza. It's streamlined on young characters but the dilemmas they face as they age are something which any Asian society could relate to at any age.
Yours Truly is a very interesting story about a young Pakastani girl who gets married at a young age through an arranged marriage, only to soon find that things weren't what they seemed with her new husband. I found this book to be really interesting and enjoyable. It gives you insight on Pakastani culture, especially women going through these type of marriages. I love how the story line plays out and how the girl takes things into her own hand and finds her own happiness. I would definitly recommend this book to anyone interested in reading it!
I bought this book around midnight one night and had it finished around 3 am. I could not put the book down. Just had to know what the ending will be. A very eye catching book. Describes arranged marriage and the turmoils a girl goes through very well. Writing is also very good for the author's first novel. I would definitely reccommend this book if you like reading about other cultures. And if you are from Pakistan/South Asia still read it as its very interesting.
